The Turbo Boost Event returns in World of Warcraft: The War Within Season 3, giving players new ways to gear up faster and strengthen their Warband. First introduced in Season 2, this limited-time event offers powerful upgrades, new currencies, and quality-of-life changes designed to smooth out progression for raiders, Mythic+ players, and Delvers alike.

What is Turbo Boost?
Turbo Boost is a seasonal catch-up and progression event aimed at boosting your character’s power. The event introduces Puzzling Cartel Chips (Dinars), extends Heroic and Mythic gear upgrade tracks, improves Delves, updates crafted gear systems, and doubles Warband loot rates later in the season.

Puzzling Cartel Chips (Dinars): Purchase raid loot and dungeon trinkets.
Heroic & Mythic Upgrade Track Boosts: Gear upgrades extended from 6 to 8 ranks.
Delve Improvements: Faster Delver’s Journey, more Valorstones, more Crests.
Crafted Gear Updates: Augmentation Matrices give up to +6 item levels.
Bonus Warband Loot & Catalyst Charges: More loot, faster tier set acquisition.
Turbo Boost Release Schedule

Hero & Mythic upgrade tracks extended (+2 levels).

Puzzling Cartel Chips become available.
Warband loot drop rates doubled.
Catalyst charges drop from Mythic+, Delves, PvP, and Manaforge Omega.
How to Earn Puzzling Cartel Chips
Players can complete two weekly quests in Dornogal (outside the Great Vault):
Turbo-Boost: Trade Must Flow – Complete 4 Raid Bosses (Normal+), or 4 Mythic+ dungeons → 3 Cartel Chips.
Turbo-Boost: Infinite Growth – Unlocks after the first quest, requires 4 more completions → 1 Cartel Chip.
Maximum per Season: 9 Cartel Chips per character.
Requirements for Raid & Dungeon Gear
Heroic Raid Gear: Must have killed the boss on Normal+ difficulty.
Mythic Raid Gear: Must have killed the boss on Mythic at least once.
Mythic+ Dungeon Trinkets:
Hero-track → freely purchasable.
Myth-track → requires timing all Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons at Keystone +12 or higher.
Gear Vendors Location
Fixer So'kir → Heroic Vendor.
Fixer So'tho → Mythic Vendor.
Both can be found in Dornogal, outside the Great Vault.
Cost: 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips per item.
Heroic & Mythic Gear Track Boosts
Upgrade tracks now extend to 8/8 instead of 6/6.
Applies to raid gear, dungeon trinkets, and Cartel Chip vendor items.
Delve Improvements
Faster Delver’s Journey progress each week.
Increased Valorstone and Crest rewards across tiers.
Tier 9+ Delves drop Champion 1/8 Warbound gear.
At Rank 3 Delver’s Journey, players can purchase Hero-track Delve Trinkets.
Crafted Gear Updates
Crafted gear receives significant improvements via Augmentation Matrices:
Runed Augmentation Matrix (+3 ilvl) - 15 Runed Ethereal Crest
Gilded Augmentation Matrix (+6 ilvl) - 30 Gilded Ethereal Crest
Crafting orders now include a new Optional Reagent slot for Augmentation Matrices, allowing recrafting to push gear higher.
