1) What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser; local storage works similarly but stays on your device rather than travelling with each request. Mythic-Store uses both to keep you signed in, remember your cart, run our live-chat support, and — where you allow it — to see how the site is used and measure our advertising. This page explains what we set, why, and how to change your choices. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2) Necessary — always on
These keep the store and its support channels working. They can’t be disabled — without them, sign-in, checkout, and live chat wouldn’t function.
- Session & authentication — keeps you signed in and your session secure.
- Region (
ms_region) — remembers which realm/region (EU/US) you’re shopping for. - Cart & coupon — holds your cart contents and any discount code you’ve applied.
- Site-lock & anti-abuse (incl. Cloudflare Turnstile) — protects the store from bots and abuse.
- Live chat (Chatwoot) — cookies such as
cw_conversationand Chatwoot’s own session cookies are set on every visit so our support widget can open a conversation and remember it. This is how you reach a real person instantly, so it’s treated as Necessary and isn’t a toggle you can turn off.
3) Analytics — optional
Helps us understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow, so we can improve it. Only set once you say yes (maps to Google’s analytics_storage signal).
- Google Analytics —
_ga,_gidand related identifiers used for visitor and page-view tracking. - Web Vitals — anonymous, aggregated real-user performance measurements (load speed, responsiveness).
4) Marketing — optional
Lets us measure how our advertising performs and avoid repeating an ad you’ve already acted on. Only set once you say yes (maps to Google’s ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals).
- Google Ads — conversion tracking (did an ad lead to an order) and remarketing.
5) Preferences — optional
Small conveniences that stay on your device only — nothing is sent to Google or shared externally. Examples: recently-viewed boosts, your chat window’s position and size, and the last game you were browsing.
6) Your consent choice
Whatever you pick — Accept all, Reject all, or a custom mix — is itself remembered in a cookie named ms_consent for 12 months, so we don’t ask again every visit. If we materially change what we collect, we’ll reset this and ask again.
7) How to change your choices
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer, on any page, to reopen this panel any time. From there you can Accept all, Reject all, or toggle Analytics, Marketing, and Preferences individually. Necessary cookies and live chat stay on — the store and its support can’t run without them.
8) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our tooling or legal requirements evolve. The “Last updated” date above will change accordingly, and where a change materially affects what we collect we’ll ask for your consent again. This Policy is always available at https://mythic-store.com/cookies.
