Allied Races

Allied Races are alternate versions of the main races introduced in Battle for Azeroth, each with their own racial abilities, emotes, and full character kit. As of Patch 10.1.5, there are no requirements beyond reaching level 40 for all races except Earthen and Haranir, which have their own campaign-based unlocks.

• Account-Wide Unlock — Once one of your characters completes the requirements, the race is unlocked account-wide — you can roll that race on any realm

• Faction Requirement — Alliance races need a level 40+ Alliance character; Horde races need a Horde character of the same level

• Recruitment Quests — Quest chains begin at the Stormwind or Orgrimmar Embassy and can only be done once per account — they cannot be completed in parallel, so each must be finished before starting the next

• Heritage Armor — Earned by leveling an Allied Race character from 10 to 50 without a character boost or Recruit-A-Friend — granting a race-exclusive transmog set

Lightforged: Lightforged Items

Highmountain Tauren: Highmountain Items.

Nightborne: Shal’dorei Items

Vulpera: Caravan Hyena

Mechagnomes: Mechagon Mechanostrider

Zandalari Troll: Zandalari Direhorn

Kul Tiras: Kul Tiran Charger

Mag’har Orc: Mag'har Direwolf

Dark Iron Dwarf: Dark Iron Core Hound

Nightborne: Nightborne Manasaber

Highmountain Tauren: Highmountain Thunderhoof
