Unlocking the secrets

Since Patch 9.2, players unlock Zereth Mortis flying by completing the Unlocking the Secrets meta-achievement — an account-wide unlock that only needs to be done once across all characters. Unlike older Pathfinder grinds, it's a single defined checklist — but two of its parts are gated behind campaign progress that can't be rushed at launch.

• Six Required Achievements — Explore Zereth Mortis, Curious Collections (5 treasures), Path to Enlightenment (3 side-quest chains), Tales of the Exile (7 Firim scrolls), Adventures in Zereth Mortis (10 rare elites), and A Means to an End (Chapter 6 of the campaign)

• Account-Wide Unlock — Once earned, Zereth Mortis flying applies to every character on your account

• Campaign-Gated Parts — Four of the six achievements have no special requirements, but two require completing specific chapters of the 9.2 campaign — including the time-gated Chapter 6

• Zone-Specific — This unlocks flying only in Zereth Mortis — flying in the rest of Shadowlands has its own separate requirement (Memories of Sunless Skies)

• Completion Time — For a max-level character already in the zone, the full meta-achievement takes roughly 5 hours of focused play
