Altar of Fangs Dungeon Boost

Altar of Fangs is the only entirely new dungeon in Midnight Season 2, located on the Coiled Isle off the coast of Zul'Aman. It follows Zul'jarra's pursuit of her brother Zul'jan through the venom-soaked ruins where the Children of Ula'tek have taken hold, and it's built around three troll and serpent-loa themed encounters.

• Three Bosses — Players move through the exterior Carnage Pit and Mutation Chambers before ascending the altar: Rav'i, The Writhing Coil, and finally Zul'jan

• Difficulty by Timing — Heroic and Mythic 0 are available from the Patch 12.1 launch, while Mythic+ eligibility begins one week later with the start of Season 2, when the dungeon joins the eight-dungeon rotation

• Mythic 0 Reset — At launch Mythic 0 runs on a weekly reset dropping around item level 292; once the season opens it switches to a daily reset, making it a repeatable gearing source

• Two Reward Layers — Every run drops end-of-dungeon loot and, on Mythic+, fills Great Vault slots at 1, 4, and 8 keys for the week

• The Writhing Brood — Zul'jan has a low chance to drop this three-headed serpent mount on Mythic and Mythic+, which we can farm across runs as an add-on

• Fresh Mechanics — As the season's only brand-new dungeon, its trash and boss mechanics aren't yet muscle-memory for most groups, which is exactly where pug runs stall — our team knows the pulls and routes

• Flexible Delivery — Self-Play lets you run in our group, Piloted has a booster play your character, and both are available on US and EU realms

• Zone Access — The Coiled Isle unlocks through the Patch 12.1 campaign starting with Hagar's Invitation in Silvermoon City, which we can complete as an add-on if needed
