Lab-Grown Stormray Mount Boost

The Lab-Grown Stormray is a flying mount added in Patch 12.0.1, awarded by the Staring Into the Void achievement for fully unlocking the Voidstorm Research Console at Howling Ridge. It's a deterministic, timegated progression reward rather than an RNG or skill chase — the console purrs to life node by node as you feed it Void Samples.

• Zone & Renown Gate — Requires Voidstorm unlocked (via No Fear of the Dark from Magister Umbric) and Renown 2 with The Singularity, which grants Unavoidable Discoveries and the Researching the Storm quest to open the console

• Seven Research Nodes — Staring Into the Void needs all 7 Void Research upgrades completed; the final node is learned as a spell that places the mount in your bags

• One Sample Per Node — Each upgrade costs 1 Uncontaminated Void Sample, for 7 total

• Three-Week Timegate — Week 1 yields 3 Samples (console unlock, the weekly Research Console: Exploring the Void quest, and the Stormarion Assault event); from Week 2 on, only the weekly quest and Stormarion Assault provide Samples — so the full 7 take about three weeks

• Character-Specific Console — The Singularity Renown is Warband-wide, but the Research Console itself is tied to one character, so every upgrade must be done on the same toon

• Passive Weekly Steps — Each week's tasks are quick and fold into normal Voidstorm activity — the only real cost is the calendar
