Lucid Nightmare Mount Boost

Lucid Nightmare was one of the first secret puzzle mounts in WoW, cracked by the WoW Secret Finding Discord in September 2017. It uses a corrupted unicorn model wrapped in dark nightmare energy — a prestige collectible earned through old-world exploration and puzzle-solving rather than combat.

• Strict Order Required — Every step leads directly into the next; skip ahead and the following note, object, or puzzle simply won't be available

• Cross-Continent Trail — The chain spans Legion Dalaran, Ulduar in Northrend, Ahn'Qiraj in Silithus, Deepholm, Un'Goro, Kun-Lai Summit in Pandaria, and finally Deadwind Pass

• Shadoweave Mask Step — One puzzle requires equipping the Shadoweave Mask — the pattern drops from Dark Iron Steamsmiths in Searing Gorge or can be bought on the Auction House

• The Endless Halls — The final and hardest puzzle: a random maze where you carry orbs to matching runes, with no fixed route and no way to log out without restarting

• Multi-Hour Final Step — The Endless Halls alone can take well over an hour; the rest of the chain can be paused and resumed across sessions

• Account-Wide Reward — The mount is looted from Puzzler's Desire in the Forgotten Crypt behind Karazhan and unlocks account-wide

1. Read the Inconspicuous Note on the upper level of Curiosities & Moore in Legion Dalaran to begin the chain

2. Work through the ordered clues — the Ulduar lights grid, the C'Thun bejeweled mini-game in Ahn'Qiraj, the binary cipher, the Deepholm Nightmare Tumor, and the Un'Goro thread puzzle

3. Consume the ashes at the Tomb of Secrets in Kun-Lai Summit to enter the Endless Halls maze

4. Navigate the maze, carrying orbs to all five matching runes to open the final room

5. Travel to the Forgotten Crypt behind Karazhan in Deadwind Pass, climb the bone pile in the Pit of Criminals, and loot Puzzler's Desire
