Midnight Prey Event Boost

Prey is Midnight's opt-in hunting activity, run from Astalor Bloodsworn's Sanctum in Silvermoon City. You take contracts on rotating targets across the world, at your choice of difficulty, and progress the 10-rank Preyseeker's Journey — the track that decides which rewards you can access.

• Three Difficulties — Normal is accessible immediately, while Hard and Nightmare require level 90 and further Journey progress; higher tiers pay considerably better

• Weekly Value Curve — The first four Hunts each week grant 1,000 Journey points each, with additional Hunts worth only 50 — so efficient progress means four quality Hunts per reset rather than endless grinding

• Account-Wide Points — Journey progress accumulates across your alts, so multiple characters accelerate the same track

• Remnant of Anguish — The system's currency, spent with Construct V'anore on the mounts and other rewards

• Mount Rewards — Preyseeker's Hubris unlocks at Journey Rank 5 and Preyseeker's Wrath at Rank 10, both deterministic vendor purchases with no RNG

• Nightmare Prestige — Preyseeker's Nightmare comes from defeating all 30 Prey targets on Nightmare difficulty, which is strictly solo — no groups or outside help — making it the system's true capstone

• Targeted Cleanup — A May 2026 hotfix lets Rank 10 players run custom Hunts against specific targets, so finishing a Nightmare checklist no longer depends on the random weekly board

• Gear & Vault — Hunts award Champion-track gear, Prey-themed housing decor, and fill the World row of your weekly Great Vault with a Hero-track option

V'anore sells transmog ensembles and cosmetic armor. There are no prerequisites for purchasing ensembles, though certain armor pieces require Preyseeker's Journey ranks.
