Primeval Skyfriend Mount Boost

The Primeval Skyfriend is an elder skyfiend mount and one of the headline chase rewards of Midnight Season 2. It drops exclusively from Ula'tek, the many-headed serpent goddess who serves as the eighth and final boss of The Venomous Abyss, on Mythic difficulty only.

• Mythic Only — The Skyfriend never drops on Raid Finder, Normal, or Heroic; only a Mythic Ula'tek kill has a chance at it

• Three Copies Per Kill — While the tier is current, three mounts drop per Mythic kill and are guaranteed to raid members, so a coordinated run with loot funneling reliably puts it on your character rather than leaving it to pure RNG

• Rarer After the Tier — Once the next raid tier releases, the drop reverts to a rare chance, so securing it while Season 2 is current is by far the safer window — its exact post-season behavior isn't finalized

• Cutting Edge Included — The same Mythic Ula'tek kill grants Cutting Edge: Ula'tek, a prestige Feat of Strength that also locks permanently when the next tier launches, so the mount run doubles as an achievement run

• A Demanding Finale — The encounter moves through a Shattering intermission into a shrinking platform with Demolish, Serpent's Bite chains, Venom Bubbles, and a shared-health-pool finish across her heads

• Best Loot Comes Too — Reaching and killing Mythic Ula'tek also yields item level 344 gear and her reserved special-effect weapons, funneled to you where possible
