Spark of Tides Farm

The Spark of Tides is the bind-on-pickup crafting reagent of Midnight Season 2, added in Patch 12.1 — the Season 2 successor to Spark of Radiance. It gates every high-end crafted item in the season, and because supply is paced at roughly one per week, the order you craft in matters more than anything else in the crafted-gear economy.

• Roughly One Per Week — The main sources are repeatable weekly quests in the Silvermoon hub, chiefly Trailing Xal'atath from Vereesa Windrunner (completed by looting 100 Fading Voidwhispers from dungeons, delves, treasures, and rares) plus the PvP weekly

• Catch-Up Built In — If you're below the seasonal maximum, most endgame content awards Sparks more freely and Tidal Spark Dust helps close the gap, so a late start doesn't lock you out — which is where a service recovers the most ground

• Crafting Costs — Two Sparks for a one-handed weapon or any armor piece, and four for a two-handed weapon, so a two-hander is effectively a month of weekly income

• Item Level Ceiling — A base craft lands around item level 292 to 305, rising to 318 with 80 Hero Mistcrests or up to roughly 331 with 80 Myth Mistcrests added as optional reagents

• Sparks and Crests Are Separate — Sparks start the craft; the matching Mistcrest is what pushes it onto the Hero or Myth track, and the two aren't interchangeable

• Recraftable Later — Crafted items can be recrafted upward as you bank better crests, so an early craft is never wasted

• Bound to the Character — Sparks are bind-on-pickup and tracked against a seasonal cap, so they can't be farmed in bulk and mailed over; the service runs on your account, reset by reset

• Early-Season Value — Spark crafting is at its strongest in the opening weeks, when a crafted piece is often your biggest single upgrade, so the first couple of crafts are the most impactful of the season
