The Writhing Brood Mount Boost

The Writhing Brood is a three-headed serpent mount added in Midnight Patch 12.1, dropping from Zul'jan — the final boss of the Altar of Fangs, the season's brand-new dungeon on the Coiled Isle. Zul'jan is the troll who awoke the goddess Ula'tek, and he answers for it twice: here as a dungeon boss and again in the Venomous Abyss raid.

• Zul'jan Is the Only Source — The mount drops exclusively from the dungeon's final boss on Mythic or Mythic+ difficulty; Normal and Heroic clears do not award it

• Genuine Low-Chance Drop — This is a rare roll with no bad-luck protection, so the honest approach is farming reset after reset rather than a single guaranteed run

• Mythic+ Multiplies Attempts — Because Altar of Fangs is in the Season 2 Mythic+ rotation, the mount can be rolled on every clear, and running it across your Mythic+ keys stacks chances naturally

• Account-Wide — Once it drops, the mount is learned account-wide and usable across your Warband

• Loot Comes Too — Every run banks Season 2 dungeon gear, Dawncrests, and Great Vault progress, so the farm gears you up while you chase the serpent

• Farm-Until-Drop Option — We offer both fixed run packages and a farm-until-it-drops option, so you can pick a set number of Zul'jan kills or run until the Brood is in your journal
