Void Assault Invasion Event Boost

Patch 12.0.7's Void Assaults Escalation reopens the Legion invasion worlds Val and Naigtal as Showdown zones, reached through a Greater Void Portal in Voidstorm. Only one zone is active per week, rotating each reset, and each has its own similarly-named meta-achievement that unlocks a mount for purchase.

• Two Rotating Worlds — Val is the colder, militarized Domanaar zone; Naigtal leans arcane, mushrooms, and Mana-Forge tech — each with unique enemies, rares, and a world boss (Imperator Pertinax in Val, Nexus-Captain Leth'ir in Naigtal)

• Normal & Heroic World Tier — Chosen at the portal; Heroic adds affixes for better rewards and is required only for the third mount

• Three Mounts — A Trip Around the Stars (Val) unlocks the Voidmancer's Starcarver; A Trip Through the Stars (Naigtal) unlocks the Netherforged Nullframe mechsuit; and the Heroic Showdowns meta unlocks the Tortured Gorger

• Unlock, Then Buy — Completing a meta unlocks the mount for purchase from Kifaan at the base camps — reported at around 4,500 Voidlight Marl each, a figure worth confirming in-game before setting a currency target

• Cross-Zone Metas — Both base metas include Into the Stars and Prepared for a Showdown, which need quests from both worlds — so each meta takes a minimum of two weeks given the rotation

• Pets & Transmog — Progress unlocks the Silento, Fishstick Keith, and Frosticus Maximus battle pets, the Arsenal: Lightforged Armaments weapon set, and black Void Elf armor from Fieldsmith Ventem

• Gear & Great Vault — Field Accolades buy Champion and Hero-track catch-up gear from Maren Silverwing, world bosses drop Warbound Champion gear, and participation fills the World row of the Great Vault
