WoW’s Anniversary Event

The WoW Anniversary Celebration is an annual event held each November at the Caverns of Time in Tanaris, offering a range of PvE, PvP, and social activities that reward Timewarped Badges — the main event currency used to purchase exclusive cosmetics, mounts, pets, and gear. The event typically runs for two to three weeks, with a hard cutoff date after which all rewards become unavailable until the next year.

• Timewarped Badges — Earned through Anniversary daily and weekly quests as well as Timewalking dungeon events — spent at event vendors on all exclusive rewards

• Blackrock Depths Raid — A special Anniversary raid available through Raid Finder, split into multiple wings with separate boss encounters and loot

• Korrak's Revenge — A special PvP event returning the classic Alterac Valley battleground, rewarding Timewarped Badges and exclusive PvP cosmetics

• World Bosses — Classic world bosses including Azuregos, Doomwalker, and Sha of Anger return with chances to drop rare mounts and cosmetics

• XP Buff — An Anniversary XP and reputation buff that stacks with other bonuses — making this the fastest leveling window of the year

• Iconic Tier 2 Sets — Classic class armor sets from vanilla WoW available for Timewarped Badges and Marks of Honor from event vendors

The HD Tier 2 sets introduced during WoW's 20th Anniversary event are a modern reimagining of some of the most beloved armor sets in the game's history. To buy these sets you need to earn Bronze Celebration Token. Each of these transmog sets costs 60 Bronze Celebration Tokens, but after buying the first set, you get a discount on the next. The second set will cost you 40 tokens, and the rest will be available for just 20 tokens each. To get all 13 sets, you'll need a total of 320 Bronze Tokens
